Parallel Sysplex Enablement

Harness the full power of your System z. With Mainline services, you can convert to Parallel Sysplex and enjoy the benefits of continuous availability with no single points of failure. The Sysplex appears to the clients as a single system image able to process multiple workloads while behind the scenes, many servers acting in parallel, share the same data and combine power and resources to process the transaction load. Overall computing costs can be reduced with PSLC. The Sysplex environment becomes highly scalable as new servers can be added and older servers removed, completely transparent to the client systems and end users. Since applications have no affinity to any particular server, transactions and workloads can be balanced across multiple processors for maximum efficiency.
