Christopher Williamson

Mr. Williamson is the National Practice Lead for Mainline’s CIO Advisory Services practice. A former CIO / VP IT, Mr. Williamson has spent over 30 years in information technology leading infrastructure, applications development and service delivery teams in environments ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 global corporations. He is an iEAi certified Enterprise Architect, Six Sigma Black Belt and ITIL certified practitioner.

Since joining Mainline Information Systems in February 2012, Mr. Williamson has provided strategic business and technology guidance to clients in a range of industries including state government, healthcare, construction and pharmaceuticals, among others. He frequently serves as interim CIO/CTO and vCIO for clients nationally.

Prior to joining Mainline, co-founded and led the IT organization at high-profile media company SIRIUS Satellite Radio Inc. (now SiriusXM). He has also held IT leadership positions at retailer L Brands (Victoria’s Secret / Bath & Body Works), regional grocer Bruno’s Supermarkets and global media giant EMI Group, PLC (Capitol Records, Virgin Records)

Chris holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Western New England University. Mr. Williamson has also been active in the community including serving as Troop Chair with the Boy Scouts of the Greater Alabama Council. He resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife and three sons.
