Mainline establishes fund with Feeding Florida
to aid Hurricane Irma victims

TALLAHASSEE, FL – September 19, 2017
Mainline Information Systems, a leading provider of IT solutions and services, today committed financial support toward Hurricane Irma relief efforts. To help those who have been effected by this tragic event, Mainline is contributing an initial $5000 to Feeding Florida, a state network of food banks, and will proudly match employee donations made to the Hurricane Irma relief efforts. Mainline expects matching contributions to be $25 thousand.

“Just as we did for Harvey relief efforts, Mainline is stepping up to help Irma victims across the state of Florida”, said John McCarthy, Mainline CEO and President. “Being a Florida-headquartered company, this one hit close to home. Many employees, their families and our customers have suffered severe damages to their homes and businesses, and many are still displaced.”

Mainline Chairman and Founder, Rick Kearney, is no stranger to helping those in need. Through partnerships with services and the creation of affordable housing, the Kearney Center in Tallahassee provides comprehensive emergency services to the less fortunate. “Tallahassee was fortunate not to have been heavily impacted by Irma”, said Rick Kearney. “The Kearney Center provided safe shelter to over 380 people throughout the storm. Mainline now needs to reach out to help those effected across other parts of Florida.”

Feeding Florida’s statewide network unites 14 member food banks to provide a healthy, adequate, and consistent food supply to every community every day. The organization mobilized and is providing relief to individuals and families affected by Hurricane Irma. “Feeding Florida is so grateful to Mainline and its employees for their generous support of our statewide network of food banks”, said Robin Safley, Executive Director of Feeding Florida. “In the wake of a disaster, our statewide network has developed the infrastructure needed to provide the on-the-ground services, such as food, water, hygiene and paper products. Partnerships like this allow us to ensure each impacted individual receives the resources they require.”
